The title of Raghava Lawrence’s superhero movie was made official today. Kaala Bhairava is its powerful name.
Produced by Koneru Satyanarayana on A Studios LLP, the project has also seen Goldmine Telefilms, Neeladri Productions, and Hawwish Productions joining hands.
This one is Lawrence’s 25th movie. The phrases ‘The World Within’ and ‘A Pan India Super Hero Film’ are mentioned on the First Look released today.

The title is closely linked to Lord Shiva. Bhairava is a fierce and powerful manifestation of Shiva. Kaala means time or death in Sanskrit. The manifestation, as per scriptures, is invoked to “overcome obstacles, ward off evil, and grand spiritual liberation”. Lawrence, after films like Jigarthanda DoubleX, Kanchana 3 and Chandramukhi 2, is attempting a big-scale pan-Indian movie.
“We are making this film on a huge budget of Rs 200 crores,” producers Koneru Satyanarayana and Manish Shah said.
The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
Kaala Bhairava will commence its shoot in November this year. The epic action adventure’s full cast and crew details will be exciting.
