Basking on the glorious success of her recent blockbuster ‘Animal’, Rashmika Mandanna has jumped to filming her upcoming movies ‘The Girlfriend’, and ‘Pushpa2: The Rule’. The ‘Bheeshma’ actress, who took to her social media, on Monday, unveiled a picture from the sets of Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.
Rashmika posted a photo of Pushpa director Sukumar on Instagram Stories. Sukumar is pictured by the actor leaning on a lion statue on the sets, his eyes stationed on something. Rashmika wrote, “Candid posing @aryasukumar #PushpaTheRule,” followed by a fire emoji.
Sharing the same picture, the makers of Pushpa, wrote, “Srivalli candidly captures the maverick director @iamRashmika shared a picture of @aryasukku clicked by her on the sets of #Pushpa2TheRule. Shoot in Progress at a Rapid Pace!! Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024.”

In Pushpa 2: The Rule, Rashmika will reprise the role of Srivalli in the sequel to the blockbuster film Pushpa 1: The Rise, an action entertainer released in theaters on December 17, 2021.
The film, which stars Allu Arjun in the lead role, bagged him the National Award for his acting in the movie. Malayalam’s most-talented Fahadh Faasil played SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, the antagonist opposite Allu Arjun, and will reprise the role in the second part of the Sukumar directorial.
Pushpa 2: The Rule, which is slated for its worldwide release on August 15, 2024, purports to chronicle Pushpa Raj’s rise to prominence as the don of the sandalwood black-marketing gang; nevertheless, the first section exclusively concentrates on his ascent to that position.
