7 Days 6 Nights Telugu Movie Review:
Story:
Anand (Sumanth Ashwin) is an aspiring filmmaker who is about to marry the love of his life, Vinni (Rishika Bali) in a few days. His best friend, Mangalam (Rohan) is also ready to marry his uncle’s daughter. The friends go on a 7 days bachelor trip to Goa to celebrate their last few days of Bachelorhood. There they meet two girls Rathika (Mehr Chahal) and Ameya (Kritika Shetty). The bachelor trip turns out to be a fun filled one after the girls are on board along with Anand and Mangalam. The real fun starts when the guys fall for the girls. What happens by the end of the trip? How does the girls impact the bachelor’s trip and their marriage? All these interesting things form the rest of the story.
On-Screen Performances:
Sumanth as a heavy hearted young man and Rohan as a carefree guy are very apt to their roles. As their characters are in complete contrast to each other, their performances too reflect the same and they are very impressive. Sumanth needs a special mention among the both for his natural and realistic dialogue delivery during his conversations with Rohan. Mehr and Kritika are not only glamorous, matching the Goa vibes, but also they have a very good screen presence and they justified their roles too with their performances.
Off-Screen Highlights:
Firstly, this coming of age rom-com is a visual treat and the director MS Raju scores cent marks here. The making is so beautiful that the audience could have a pleasant cinematic experience. Besides some fantastic visuals, the film’s writing is also good. The film’s main strength is humour. The characters also act accordingly and their behaviour and mannerism come out of that quite naturally. MS Raju perfectly presented the complications in relationships. A bit of alcohol consumption, smoking and adult scenes are all part of the film’s narrative flow because it’s a bachelor trip and the destination is Goa. One needs to set to that atmosphere, be it the filmmaker or the viewer.
Cinematography needs a special mention here. Nani is the unseen hero of the film. His frames including the beautiful landscapes and beachscapes, and the night skies are truly a delight to watch.
Samarth Gollapudi’s music is so refreshing.
The film has very great production values.
Endnote:
7 Days 6 Nights is a go to watch movie for its humour, making and the beautiful presentation of the world of Goa. The energetic performances of all the leads, especially Sumanth, makes you root for them throughout the film. MS Raju once again succeeded in delivering a perfect youthful entertainer with fun and romance. If you love to watch and encourage coming of age rom-coms, then this film is absolutely for you.
