Recently, the makes of Prabhas’ Spirit gave a casting call, asking aspiring artists to apply for a role in the movie. The aspirants were asked to send 2-minute recorded videos. While the casting call is meant only for aspirants, Manchu Vishnu today took to social media to say that he is one of the applicants. It’s either a joke, or it is Vishnu’s way of telling the world how much he admires Prabhas.

Prabhas is playing a cameo in Vishnu’s upcoming movie, Kannappa. As Rudra, the Aadipurush actor’s role will be of divine nature. The Salaar actor didn’t charge a penny to do the powerful cameo. This is a first-of-its-kind role for Prabhas in his career. The actor is seen wearing ascetic-like religious markers on his forehead et al. “He is the raging storm. The guide through times past and future. He is ruled by Lord Shiva’s command,” the descriptor for Rudra on the poster read recently. The Raja Saab actor’s cameo has won everyone’s attention.
Spirit is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. It will commence its shoot this Summer.
