It all started with the release of Akhanda. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the dual role. His screen presence itself provided the mass entertainment for the audience which they had been waiting for a while. The film was directed by Boyapati Srinu and was produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. The film collected 120 crores at the box office.
The duo of Sukumar and Allu Arjun came back with the film Pushpa: The Rise. The film was a massive hit in multiple languages across India. Pushpa is the career biggest hit for both Sukumar and Allu Arjun. Also, the film is the highest grosser of India in 2021. Pushpa collected a total of 230 crores at the box office and continues to run successfully.
Natural star Nani deviated a bit from his regular films and portrayed a unique role in his latest film Shyam Singha Roy. The film was directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film got a positive response all over. The film collected 36 crores till date and is running successfully.
