Vishwak Sen's Cult to be a new-age film, commences its shoot

After Falaknuma Das and Das Ka Dhamki, actor Vishwak Sen will be directing yet another movie. Titled Cult, the film is a “wild new-age party thriller” to be released in two Indian languages and three foreign languages.

“Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen coming up this time with his third directorial, a wild new-age PARTY THRILLER,” Vanmaye Creations wrote on social media, making the announcement. To be released in Telugu, Hindi, English, Spanish, and Japanese, the film went on the floors on Sunday.

As many as 40 newcomers will be making their debut on the screen. Tharun Bhascker, who has previously directed Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi headlined by Vishwak, has crafted the dialogues. The KGF and Salaar musical sensation Ravi Basrur is on board. Arvind Vishwanathan, Ravi Teja Girijala, and Arvind Mule are handling the cinematography, editing, and art direction, respectively. Vashwanth Master is the dance choreographer. Karunak AR will be helming the stunts.

Also produced by Tarak Cinemas, Cult is jointly produced by Karate Raju and Sandeep Kakarala.

While Vishwak is tight-lipped about the movie’s premise, Cult attempts to offer the audience a “first-of-its-kind experience”.
