Veteran actor Mohan Babu, who is fondly known as the ‘Collection King’, will be returning as a protagonist, with his upcoming Telugu film, Son Of India. The actor, who essayed a wide range of roles as protagonists and antagonists in his movies, will be seen in a never before seen avatar in Son Of India. After the first look was received exceptionally well, the makers today shared a BTS video of Mohan Babu and Illayaraja composing a song.
Vishnu Manchu, son of Mohan Babu and producer of the film, took to social media and shared a BTS video of Ilayaraja working on a song from Son Of India. Mohan Babu and music composer Ilayaraja can be seen working on the lyrics of the song, which is titled Raghuveera Gadyam.
Sharing a BTS video on social media, Vishnu wrote, “To produce a movie with legends is a God sent opportunity for me. And to make iconic prose into a song, only a legend could do it. This is the first discussion between Maestro Sri llayaraja uncle and Father along with my director Ratna Babu. I wanted to share this video with you. And bringing the song visually is another story altogether; that I will share soon. #sonofindia (sic.)”

Son Of India is directed by Diamond Ratnababu and produced by Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory, both of which are co owned by Mohan Babu. Maestro Ilayaraja is on board to score music for the film, while Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer. Mohan Babu is also providing the screenplay and dialogues will be by Diamond Ratnababu and Thotapalli Sainath. Viranica Manchu is the stylist for Mohan Babu, whereas Chinna is the art director. The team of Son Of India wrapped up two long schedules at various locations in the Telugu states.
