Will Smith’s global influence and expertise is expected to be leveraged by this project, which is aimed at boosting the Indian entertainment industry. Spearheaded by actor-producer Vishnu Manchu, the project focuses on investing in cutting-edge technologies and beyond.
Key individuals associated with Taranga Ventures include, Addishree (a finance expert), Pradyuman Jhala (an investor from Canada), Vinay Maheshwari (a seasoned media professional), Devesh Chawla, and Satish Kataria.
Beyond financial backing, this India and Delaware-registered fund provides crucial strategic mentorship to nurture the growth of entertainment startups.
Manchu Vishnu, on the film front, is working on ‘Kannappa‘. The devotional action epic movie also features Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, Mollywood actor Mohan Lal, and Kajal Aggarwal. Kannappa also features Sarath Kumar, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Madhubala, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, Preity Mukhundan, Rahul Mahadev, Surekha Vani, Saptagiri, and others. Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.
