The much-anticipated historical pan-Indian movie “Kannappa,” starring Manchu Vishnu, which has drawn much attention with the impactful promotional content including the movie’s teaser, has made it to the headlines one more time.
The actor portraying Kannappa’s lead, Manchu Vishnu, made a statement on his X earlier today about the film’s mammoth release globally. As per Vishnu’s announcement, Mukesh Kumar Singh’s directorial- Kannappa, will open in theaters in December.
Telugu cinema enthusiasts are thrilled to hear that the historical drama Kannappa will debut on big screens worldwide in December 2024, even though the makers did not reveal a specific release date.

Kannappa is the tale of Lord Shiva’s devotee Kannappa, a hunter from Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh. It features fascinating roles played by Mohan Babu, Sarath Kumar, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Madhoo, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, Preity Mukhundan, Rahul Mahadev, Surekha Vani, Saptagiri, and others.
Kannappa has special appearances by popular actors Mohan Lal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.
This upcoming Telugu-language fantasy drama film is produced by Manchu Mohan Babu, the well-known actor, under 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment.
Kannappa’s soundtracks are composed by Maestro Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy together.
