Today is Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday, and in addition to taking part in offline festivities, his admirers and followers have sent birthday greetings via various digital channels. The creators of Vijay’s upcoming film “GOAT” dropped the second track from the film yesterday to further spread the excitement.
The lyrical video for the second song titled ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’ from the film, GOAT, was also unveiled by the makers, adding to the excitement of the fans. Composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the song is special as it features the AI-generated voice of the late singer Bhavatharini (Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s daughter & Yuvan Shankar Raja’s sister).
While Thalapathy Vijay himself has lent his voice to this special song, it is sung by Shankar Raja, and Raja Bhavatharini (AI generated). The soulful lyrics are penned by Kabilan Vairamuthu.
A mother, father, and child make up a beautiful family that appears to be living life to the fullest in the beautiful glimpses. The images show that Vijay is a devoted husband and parent, and Sneha is seen pregnant.
Yuvan Shankara Raja, penned an emotional note regarding his sister Bhavatharani, which reads—
“The second single from #TheGreatestOfAllTime is very special for me. Words cannot do justice to describe this feeling. When we were composing this song in Bangalore, @vp_offl & I felt this song is for my sister and at that time I thought to myself once she’s better and out of the hospital we can record her voice. But, an hour later I got the news that she’s no more. I never imagined I would be using her voice like this. I would like to sincerely thank my music team & all the people involved in the process of making this happen. It is a very bittersweet moment for me.”
Ilaiyaraaja’s daughter Bhavatharini passed away on January 25 due to cancer. She was a highly talented playback singer.
