The pre-release event for Suriya’s upcoming film ‘Retro’ is set to take place on April 26th in Hyderabad. Adding star power to the event, popular actor Vijay Deverakonda will be attending as the chief guest. Fans eagerly anticipate the event ahead of the movie’s release.
The film stars Pooja Hegde as Suriya’s wife. Its Trailer was out recently. Going by the trailer, he has oscillated between gentle romance and an acting intensity he has never done before.

Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music. Jackie’s production design ensures that the visuals are fresh. Jayaram, Joju George, Prakash Raj and Karunakaran are essaying pivotal roles. Retro boasts a stellar technical crew, including cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, and editor Mohammed Shafique Ali. The film is produced by Jyotika – Suriya.
The Telugu version is released in the Telugu States by Sithara Entertainments, which is also the production house behind Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom.
Retro will hit the screens on May 1st.
