Set against the evocative backdrop of 1950s Madras, Kaantha promises to be a captivating exploration of human relationships and societal change during a transformative period in history.
The project represents Spirit Media’s first big venture, aligning with Suresh Productions. The film is produced by Prashanth Potluri, Rana Daggubati, Dulquer Salmaan, and Jom Varghese. Dani Sanchez Lopez handled the cinematography and music composed by Jhanu. The art direction is by Ramalingam, the script is written by Tamizh Prabha and Lewellyn Anthony Gonsalves serves as the editor.
The film is aimed to be released in multiple South Indian languages, including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada, ensuring a broad reach across the region.
