Varmaa Reshoot Commences

Varmaa, the Tamil remake of the sensational Telugu movie Arjun Reddy,  has been making  headlines for the past couple of days. The reason behind this is, the makers of Varmaa decided to reshoot the whole movie as they were not happy with the initial version. The initial version was directed by Bala, who won many awards and accolades for his recent flick, Paradesi.

While Arjun Reddy featured some of the most talented artists, Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey, in the lead roles, Varmaa is featuring Dhruv Vikram and Megha Chowdary as the leads. Now, in the new version of Varmaa, while Dhruv Vikram remains the male lead, the other characters have been shuffled around and changed.

News is, the reshot version of Varmaa is going to be worked on by Gireesaaya, the co director of some of the biggest hits of the Telugu film industry, Mahanati and Arjun Reddy..

Sources state, Janhvi Kapoor is going to feature in the female lead role in this upcoming project, while Megha Chowdary is going to play the role played by Jia Sharma in Arjun Reddy. Radhan is composing the music for this Dhruv Vikram starrer, while E4 Entertainments is bankrolling it. The initial version of Varmaa was supposed to hit theatres during the month of February, but now, the reshot version is slated for a grand release during June 2019.
