As the lockdown is slowly being relaxed in India and life is slowly inching back to normalcy, the movie industry is finally reopening. Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya finally gets an update as the film is finally certified by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC.) The movie is rated ‘U’ which stands for unrestricted, meaning that the movie is permissible for anybody to watch. Satya Dev took to Twitter to share the news with his fans.

Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is a remake of the Malayalam cult hit, Maheshinte Pratikaaram (2016,) which starred Fahad Faasil in lead and which told the story of a village photographer and his revenge. Maheshinte Pratikaaram won many awards, including The National Award for the Best Original Screenplay and the Best Film In Malayalam.
Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya is being directed by Venkatesh Maha of C/O Kancharapalem fame and produced by Arka Mediaworks, the production house behind Baahubali.
