Megastar Chiranjeevi has received an international honour. The legendary actor, known for classics and cult box office hits, will be felicitated in a grand way at the House of Commons of the UK Parliament on March 19th.
The Waltair Veerayya actor will receive the honour for his “exemplary services to the society through the power of his cultural influence”. Navendu Mishra, honourable parliamentarian of the Labour Party, will honour Chiru in the presence of Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman, his fellow parliamentarians.
Bridge India, a UK-based public policy organization, will also be presenting Chiranjeevi with Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public service through Cultural Leadership. This is the first time that Bridge India is presenting such an Award to any individual.
Chiranjeevi was recently honoured with India’s second highest civilian award, Padma Vibhushan, by the Government of India. He also holds the honour for gaining an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the Most Prolific Actor/Dancer.
His next movie is going to be Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vassisht and produced by UV Creations. MM Keeravani is its composer.
