Trivikram and Jr NTR are poised to surprise Indian cinema by setting their film in a never-before-seen world. This project aims to deliver an experience that surpasses the scale and vision typically associated with even the most ambitious productions.
Producer S Naga Vamsi offered a glimpse into the immense scope of the yet-to-be-shot magnum opus. All previous benchmarks will stand shattered after this film. The movie is slated to explore a genre entirely new to Indian audiences, coupled with visuals designed to be insurmountable. If Trivikram’s vision is fully realized, the sheer imaginative prowess of Telugu cinema will leave all viewers across languages in awe.
The film is based heavily on the legend of Lord Kartikeya, also known as Subrahmanya, Skanda, Shanmukha and Murugan. He is the Hindu god of war, as per scriptures. The producer also put out a sloka from the Subramanyam Bhujangam, a devotional hymn composed by Adi Shankaracharya.
The film’s scripting was finished last year. The scale and breadth of the project are unprecedented. Usually, if they are making a period or a costume drama, Baahubali gets referenced. If they are making a high-octane action drama, KGF is seen as the ideal. The Tarak-Trivikram film is so first-of-its-kind that even Rajamouli hasn’t dealt with such a genre/subject before.
