It is a well-known fact that Trisha Krishnan is one of the beautiful actresses in the South film industry and has a huge fan following for her glamorous looks and outstanding acting prowess. 21 years ago, on September 30th, Trisha Krishnan has crowned Miss Chennai. She took a trip down memory lane and dug out a photo of herself from the pageant, where she looked absolutely stunning. One can see Trisha posing with the winning tiara and a flower bouquet on stage. The actress shared her excitement by sharing the special picture on Instagram and wrote, “30.9.1999 – The day my life changed. Miss Chennai 1999 (sic.)”
After winning Miss Chennai, Trisha Krishnan also participated in the Miss India pageant in 2001 and won the Beautiful Smile title. She stepped into the showbiz world in 1999 and acted in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. In Telugu, Trisha rose to fame with Prabhas’ film Varsham. She is best known for her roles in films like ‘96, Ghilli, Varsham, Athadu, Yennai Arindhaal, Pournami and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa.

Trisha was last seen with Simbu in Gautham Menon’s short film, Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn. The short film is the sequel of the trio’s popular 2010 film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya. The actress will be playing a prominent role in Mani Ratnam’s historical drama Ponniyin Selvan. She will also star opposite Mohanlal in Jeethu Joseph’s Malayalam thriller.
