Young woman behind harassment of Anupama Parameswaran

An Instagram profile was circulating " extremely inappropriate and false content " about Anupama Parameswaran, her family, friends, and co-actors. The posts included "morphed pictures and baseless allegations." Further investigation revealed the individual is a 20-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu. The offender used multiple fake accounts to spread hate and malicious content on every related post. The Paradha actress immediately filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Police in Kerala. Their prompt response helped identify the person responsible. The Kishkindhapuri actress chose not to disclose her identity due to her young age, to avoid compromising her "future or peace of mind." A social media post by Anupama confirms that the police have "proceeded with legal action," and the individual "will face the consequences of her actions." Anupama, known for hits like Karthikeya 2 and the recent Bison (Tamil), added that owning a smartphone or having access to social media platforms does not give anyone the right to harass, defame or spread hatred against others. "Every action online leaves a trace, and accountability will follow," she wrote.
