Funky has a new release date. The Vishwak Sen-starrer will hit the screens on 13 February 2026.
"Your ticket to a crazy, fun-filled experience with #FUNKY arriving on 13th FEB! Fun for all. Madness for everyone. 100% Entertainment guaranteed (sic)," the makers of the movie today wrote on X.
Funky is being produced collaboratively by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, and presented by Srikara Studios. The film is anticipated to be a stylish, cool, and comical theatrical experience. Producers Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya are steering the project, which is directed and co-written by Anudeep KV along with Mohan Sato. The cast features Kayadu Lohar in a lead role, supported by actors like VK Naresh and VTV Ganesh. The technical crew includes Bheems Ceciroleo for music, Navin Nooli as the editor, Suresh Sarangam handling cinematography, and Jonny Shaik as the art director.
Vishwak Sen's most recent releases include Gaami and Gangs of Godavari. He was also seen in Mechanic Rocky in 2024. In 2025, he was seen in Laila. That's his sole release this year. Funky will be his first release in 2026.
