Vijay Ganguly Wins Best Choreography National Award

Choreographer Vijay Ganguly has added a National Film Award to his name for his work on the popular song “Aaj Ki Raat” from Stree 2. He received the Best Choreography honour at the 72nd National Film Awards ceremony held at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat.

“Aaj Ki Raat” became one of the most popular songs from Stree 2, and Ganguly’s choreography played a major part in creating its energetic screen presence. The song featured Tamannaah Bhatia and quickly became a talking point among audiences after the film’s release.

 

The National Award recognises the choreography behind the song, with the official award citation naming Vijay Ganguly as the choreographer for “Aaj Ki Raat.” President Droupadi Murmu presented the honour during the ceremony.

 

The recognition also adds another notable achievement to the journey of Stree 2, which became one of the major Hindi films to receive honours at this year’s National Film Awards.
