Vijay Deverakonda throws light on his changed mindset

Actor Vijay Deverakonda, known for his candidness, today offered a glimpse into his journey of self-discovery, revealing how initial insecurities shaped his public persona and how the love of his audience has since softened him. He spoke openly about shedding his defensive exterior and overcoming the challenges of being an outsider in the film industry. I always speak straight from my heart. In my initial days, if I sounded aggressive, that's because of an inherent defence mechanism. I had my fears and insecurities as a newbie in a new industry. I was conscious of getting what I deserve without being shown a finger at. I was over-protective towards myself. With time, I have softened because of love (for the audience), Vijay reasoned. The Family Star actor added that he has no sense of fear of being manipulated any longer. He touched upon his lack of film background in brief.
