Trailer: Kantara: Chapter 1 is going to be a divine spectacle

Rishab Shetty s much-awaited prequel, Kantara: Chapter 1 , is up for a grand theatrical release on October 2, 2025 . Hombale Films today shared its trailer through star heroes from different languages. The Telugu version was shared by Prabhas. Starring Rishab Shetty as Berme, Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara, the mighty release is supported by a formidable ensemble cast. Gulshan Devaiah stars as King Kulashekara, a cruel and powerful tyrant oblivious to the secrets of the forest. Rukmini Vasanth also appears as Princess Kanakavathi, a royal who is captivated by Kantara. A saga of folklore, faith, and fire, born from our soil, the makers wrote, sharing the trailer. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films , the film promises visceral action, haunting melodies and a saga that will echo through generations. Arvind S Kashyap is the Director of Photography.
