Nayanthara, the Lady Superstar, is confirmed to play a prominent role in Yash's next, titled Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. Her First Look is out.

The project is designed for a global audience. It is being filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada. Dubbed versions will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. A powerhouse technical crew supports this ambitious vision. National Award winner Rajeev Ravi leads the cinematography, while Ravi Basrur handles the music.
Action is a central focus for the production. Hollywood action director JJ Perry, known for his work on John Wick, is choreographing the sequences alongside the duo Anbariv.
The international film also features Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi. Toxic is scheduled to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, strategically timed for the festive weekend of Eid, Ugadi, and Gudi Padwa.
In 2025, Nayanthara's career trajectory has emphasized multi-starrers and high-concept dramas.
