The Girlfriend: Box Office collection nears Rs 30 crore total

The Girlfriend has had a blockbuster run at the box office. It is now close to reaching the Rs 30-Cr mark in earnings. It made Rs 28.20 crore (worldwide gross) in ten days. The first collaboration between Rashmika Mandanna and Rahul Ravindran is presented by Geetha Arts. Critically acclaimed, it has also sparked online discussions on the importance of empathy and equality in romantic and marital relationships. Dheekshith Shetty is the male lead. The music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and the BGM by Prashanth R Vihari avoid typical movie tropes. Krishnan Vasant is the cinematographer. Speaking recently about the movie's success, presenter Allu Aravind called Rahul Ravindran the "real hero" of the success and praised him for sensitively portraying women's pain and emotions. On Rashmika Mandanna , he said that the actress, who once worked with his banner in Geetha Govindam, has brought even more prestige to the banner with The Girlfriend. Prior to the movie's release, Aravind stated the film gave him immense creative satisfaction. He mentioned that while he has "produced many films and earned crores," what he wanted from this film was emotional fulfillment.
