Malayalam actor Naslen is all set to make his Tamil cinema debut with Scene, starring Suriya in the lead role. The makers have unveiled Naslen’s first look as Eswaran, introducing him in a dark and intense avatar as a serial killer. Suriya welcomed the young actor to Tamil cinema, raising curiosity about their face-off in the upcoming film. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, 2026, ahead of the Diwali weekend.
In Scene, Suriya plays DSP Inbaraj, an unconventional police officer whose methods and attitude set him apart from others. The film’s promotional material introduces Naslen as Eswaran, described as a faceless and emotionless predator. His chilling character appears to set the stage for an intense confrontation with Inbaraj.
The film marks an important milestone for director Jithu Madhavan as well, as it is his Tamil directorial debut following the Malayalam hits Romancham and Aavesham. Known for his distinctive characters and blend of humour and drama, the filmmaker brings his storytelling style to Tamil cinema with this project.
Nazriya Nazim plays Maya, while the supporting cast includes Anandraj, Lal and others. Music is composed by Sushin Shyam, who has collaborated with Jithu on his previous films. The combination of Suriya’s unconventional cop character, Naslen’s dark transformation and Jithu’s filmmaking style has made Scene one of the upcoming Tamil releases to watch.
Produced by Suriya and Jyothika under Zhagaram Studios, along with 2D Entertainment, Scene brings together talent from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries. With its mix of crime, comedy, drama and thriller elements, the film is set to arrive in theatres on November 6, 2026.
