Court: State vs A Nobody, the legal drama film, was released in theatres in March this year. The box-office hit marked the directorial debut of Ram Jagadeesh and was presented by actor Nani's banner, Wall Poster Cinema.
On Thursday, the team behind the movie called on Icon Star Allu Arjun to receive his appreciation. Besides Priyadarshi, who played an upright lawyer in the movie, the Harsh Roshan-Sridevi Apalla duo were among those who met the Pushpa 2 actor. "What an Ikonic moment," Priyadarshi wrote on social media.
The movie centers on Mettu Chandrasekhar, or Chandu (Harsh Roshan), a young man from a humble background in Visakhapatnam who is working multiple jobs to survive. His life takes a dark turn when he becomes entangled in a high-stakes legal battle, accused of a crime after befriending Jabilli (Sridevi Apalla), a student from an influential family. The narrative pivots on the determination of junior lawyer Surya Teja (Priyadarshi) to challenge the system and defend Chandu's innocence against a powerful opposition, including Jabilli's ruthless uncle, Mangapathi (Sivaji). The film is praised for its tight script.
The lead pair of Court are currently doing Band Melam. Priyadarshi was most recently seen in Premante.
