In May 2024, producer Dil Raju announced an action thriller with Vijay Deverakonda as the hero. Directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, the film is in the production stage.
The film's title glimpse will be out on December 22nd at 7:29 PM.
Sri Venkateswara Creations today shared a note by the director on the hero's character. "Because this man needed to be understood…before he was NAMED," the team wrote. In the clip, Kola voices that he has always wanted to tell the story of a man he hated as much as he loved. This complex man may not be perfect, but he is real, flawed, angry and all of that!
Keerthy Suresh plays the heroine. Dino Shankar is the production designer.
SVC will be ensuring its release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, on a pan-Indian scale. The film is a political drama set in Rayalaseema. "The blood on his hands is not of their death, but of his own Rebirth," director Kola wrote on social media at the time of announcing the project. Director Kola made his debut in 2019 with Raja Vaaru Rani Vaaru. VD's most recent theatrical release is Kingdom.
