Suriya’s 47th film, which has been referred to as Suriya 47 since its announcement, has finally received its official title. The makers have unveiled Scene along with a title glimpse, giving audiences their first proper look at Suriya’s character and confirming the film’s theatrical release for November 6, 2026, during the Diwali festive season.
The title Scene immediately adds curiosity to the project, especially with the glimpse introducing Suriya in a stylish and unconventional police avatar. He plays DSP Inbaraj, a rebellious officer whose attitude and methods appear to set him apart from those around him. The glimpse also hints at his reputation among criminals, establishing him as a cop with an intimidating presence.
Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene marks his Tamil debut after the success of Malayalam films Romancham and Aavesham. The film brings together an interesting ensemble, with Nazriya Nazim as the female lead and Naslen in a key role. Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan are also part of the cast.
The project is produced by Suriya and Jyothika under Zhagaram Studios, with Jaishree Damodaran as co-producer. Sushin Shyam is composing the music, while Vineeth Augustian handles cinematography and Ajmal Sabu is the editor.
With Scene now officially introduced, the film has moved beyond its working-title phase and entered its next promotional chapter. Suriya’s unusual cop character, Jithu Madhavan’s directorial vision and the film’s Diwali release have already created considerable interest. Scene is set to hit worldwide theatres on November 6, 2026.
