Sithara Entertainments to release Suriya's Retro in Telugu

Retro, the action thriller starring Suriya, will hit the screens on May 1st . Directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Jigarthanda fame, the film has received a major release boost. Sithara Entertainments' Suryadevara Naga Vamsi will be releasing the movie in Telugu. The release rights are held by the top-tier banner in Andhra and Telangana. Retro is produced jointly by Stone Bench Films and 2D Entertainment. Jacki and Mayapandi are the art directors. This being a romantic film with lots of action, rather than just a gangster action drama, the time period makes sense. Pooja Hegde plays Suriya s girlfriend in the movie. Malayalam actor Joju George, Jayaram, Prakash Raj and Karunakaran are essaying pivotal roles. Retro boasts a stellar technical crew, including music director Santhosh Narayanan, cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna, and editor Mohammed Shafique Ali. The film is produced by Jyotika – Suriya.
