The release date of Annagaru Vostaru has been rescheduled. As a consequence, it's not hitting the screens this Friday. A new date will be made official by Studio Green later this month.
The action-comedy is coming from the talented Karthi-Nalan Kumarasamy duo. Whenever it arrives at the cinemas, it is expected to spark the curiosity of the audience.
Actor Karthi recently highlighted the film's central theme of "hero worship", emphasizing that the narrative explores the deep admiration fans hold for their cinematic icons. He echoed his co-star Krithi Shetty's sentiment that the director, Nalan Kumarasamy, has crafted the movie as a sincere tribute to 70s and 80s mass commercial cinema.
Annagaru Vostaru is titled Vaa Vaathiyaar in Tamil. The theatrical release of both Telugu and Tamil versions will happen on the same day. Karthi was in Hyderabad earlier this week for promotions. On the occasion, he revealed that the film's story takes place in a fictional place. The heroine, Krithi Shetty, plays a spirit reader. An element of fantasy is also expected to be there in the movie.
