Rashmika Mandanna unleashes her fiercest avatar yet in the newly released teaser for Mysaa, a grand Pan-India female-centric action entertainer marking the directorial debut of Rawindra Pulle. Produced by Unformula Films on a massive scale, the film has skyrocketed anticipation with its dark, gritty world.
The goosebumps-inducing teaser opens with a powerful voice-over from the protagonist's mother, defying death and declaring, "Remember the name — Mysaa." Rashmika, transformed into a raw and brutal titular character — a formidable Gond woman — delivers arguably her boldest, most violent performance, culminating in a raging roar that embodies unbridled fury.
Sharing the title glimpse, Rashmika wrote that it's just the tip of the iceberg. "We just wanted to do something fun for an evening to show you the world now and the serious stuff," she wrote.
The film showcases remarkable conviction in this unflinchingly intense narrative, a rare portrayal of strength and emotional depth. Supported by Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram, and Rao Ramesh, the film boasts stunning visuals by Shreyaas P Krishna, elevating score by Jakes Bejoy, and visceral action by international choreographer Andy Long. Currently shooting in Telangana and Kerala's forests, Mysaa promises to redefine boundaries.
