In a detailed social media statement, the actress explained why she chose Vijay and why she believes their personal decisions should not be judged by others.
Addressing the discussion about their marriage, Rashmika clarified that their relationship was never about grand proposals or how many times the question was asked. Instead, Vijay wanted both of them to take the time to understand each other and be certain about building a life together. While she described herself as someone who follows her heart, she said Vijay tends to think through practical matters. For her, these differences complement each other rather than create problems.
Rashmika made it clear that she is deeply in love with Vijay and sees him as her lifelong companion, friend and the father of her future children.
