Psych Siddhartha, starring Shree Nandu in the lead, has changed its release date due to Akhanda 2's release this week. The youthful film will now be released in theatres on January 1, 2026.
Nandu and the film's presenter, Rana Daggubati, appeared in a video to announce the postponement. The "Already caution kiya humne" portion from a viral interview of the Balakrishna-Boyapati duo is made use of in a lighter vein.
Co-starring Yaamini Bhaskar, Psych Siddhartha is directed by Varun Reddy. Narasimha S, Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sukesh, Wadekar Narsing, Bobby Ratakonda, Sakshi Atree Chaturvedi, Mounika, Pradyumna Billuri and others have acted in the movie. Produced by Shree Nandu and Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi, the film is directed by Smaran Sai.
Speaking about the movie, senior producer D Suresh Babu recently said that Shree Nandu and the director have put in a lot of effort. He described them as passionate, risk-taking, and hardworking. "We showed this film to a lot of people, including Raghavendra Rao Garu. Everyone appreciated it greatly. After Pelli Choopulu and C/o Kancharapalem, this is the film that felt like it had that kind of special effort put into it," he added.
