Production designer Mohan Bingi may not be a widely famous production designer, but Rajamouli's Varanasi , his most important project till date, is poised to transform his career. Known for his meticulous visual effects work on Hollywood spectacles like Tron: Legacy (2010) and Bollywood thrillers such as Karthik Calling Karthik (2010), Mohan has long bridged Eastern storytelling with Western precision. His art department contributions to the ambitious Adipurush (2023) showcased his flair for mythological grandeur, blending CGI with cultural authenticity. The film, starring Prabhas, was directed by Om Raut and was based on the Ramayana. It is likely that Mohan's primary role with respect to the Mahesh Babu movie is overseeing the recreation of Varanasi's sacred ghats, temples, and Ganges riverfronts.
