Priyanka Chopra Jonas has shared her excitement about working on SS Rajamouli s highly anticipated adventure epic, Varanasi, opposite Mahesh Babu and Malayalam icon Prithviraj Sukumaran. In a heartfelt social media post, the actress described collaborating with the two south Indian heavyweights as a privilege and expressed awe at being part of a Rajamouli directorial. Working alongside these two legends of the Telugu and Malayalam industries, and coming together for an SS Rajamouli film, is already such a privilege, she wrote. What has thrilled her even more is the film s aggressive international promotional campaign, kicking off almost a year before its scheduled 2027 release. Priyanka revealed that early interactions with global media have already generated massive anticipation. Seeing their reactions and the anticipation building is exciting to say the least, she added.
