The upcoming Japanese theatrical release of the remastered version of Baahubali: The Epic (a combined edition of the 2015 and 2017 films, marking the franchise's 10th anniversary under director SS Rajamouli), will see Prabhas himself joining promotions.
The movie is scheduled for December 12, 2025, with exclusive premieres on December 5 and 6. Prabhas is personally attending the premieres in Japan after a short break from filming Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming action thriller Spirit (co-starring Triptii Dimri). This fulfills a promise he made to his Japanese fans during promotions for Kalki 2898 AD.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda is joining Prabhas for the event, where the actor will interact directly with fans, underscoring his global popularity.
Baahubali: The Epic was released originally on October 31st. Prabhas, Rajamouli and Rana Daggubati recorded a chit-chat as part of promotions. It was released in premium large formats, including IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, ScreenX, ICE, Dolby Cinema and EPIQ.
Prabhas' Spirit 'went on the floors recently. Tripti Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj and Kanchana have major roles in it. Harshavardhan Rameshwar is its music director. T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures are producing it.
