Prabhas has opened up about the filmmakers he has worked with so far. The pan-India superstar reserved the title of genius for SS Rajamouli, adding the respectful "garu" to acknowledge the director who catapulted him to international stardom. Interestingly, he also labeled Puri Jagannadh—who directed him in Bujjigadu and Ek Niranjan—as a genius, highlighting the director's unique storytelling flair.
Regarding his more recent and upcoming projects, Prabhas described Kalki 2898 AD director Nag Ashwin as strong, likely referring to his vision and conviction. For Prashanth Neel, the man behind the high-octane Salaar, Prabhas chose the heartfelt descriptor "beautiful person".
The actor also generated excitement for his future films, calling Sandeep Reddy Vanga (of the upcoming Spirit) a "cult director" and describing Maruthi as "cute." He further lauded Hanu Raghavapudi's work ethic as "very hard working" and noted Saaho director Sujeeth's "smart" approach to filmmaking.
Prabhas is shooting for Spirit these days. The action drama co-stars Tripti Dimri, Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and Kanchana.
