On Thursday, the makers of the crazy sequel declared that the star heroine won't be doing Kalki 2 . They stated that the decision was arrived at after taking into consideration all factors. Since the ambitious sequel demands a supreme level of commitment by the female lead and it seems Deepika couldn't offer that, she has been asked to excuse herself. This is to officially announce that Deepika Padukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of Kalki2898AD. After careful consideration, We have decided to part ways.
