Rashtrapati Bhavan and Agrasen ki Baoli are two of the New Delhi locations where Peddi is currently being shot for a brief while. This 4-day schedule will see the filming of scenes primarily involving Mega Power Star Ram Charan. A still from the schedule is out. This schedule would have taken place earlier had it not been for a last-minute change following a bomb blast near the Red Fort last month.
Earlier this month, a schedule was carried out in Hyderabad. Director Buchi Babu Sana filmed several pivotal sequences in it. "The entire filming will continue until the end of January, by which time the talkie part of the movie is going to be wrapped up in toto. As planned, all aspects of production are progressing smoothly, with post-production work moving ahead at a good pace," the team said.
Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead. Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar essaying a crucial role adds further gravitas to the film, while Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma appear in significant supporting roles.
AR Rahman has scored the music. The first song, Chikiri Chikiri, has been a sensational chartbuster. Fans are eagerly waiting for the second song to be out.
Peddi is all set for a grand pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
