Pawan Kalyan Says Audiences Prefer Grey Heroes Over Traditional Good Guys

Speaking to the media, Pawan Kalyan has observed that the audience's tastes with respect to ideal hero material has undergone a change in recent times. He opined that, these days, they want to watch violent heroes with grey shades. As against this, Power Star hinted, films like Hari Hara Veera Mallu present the textbook hero who fights for a righteous cause. Personally, Pawan prefers the traditional hero material. He is a fan of Sri Rama and Sri Krishna. The actor made the remarks in the context of OG enjoying much greater hype than any of his other movies. He suggested that Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the kind of movie that works when you watch the entire material, not just a glimpse video. OG is directed by Sujeeth. It recently completed its production and is scheduled to be released in theatres on September 25th . Hari Hara Veera Mallu is hitting the screens this week ( July 24th ), with premiere shows on the prior day. Pawan Kalyan is also doing Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar.
