Paradha: A Fictional Story Inspired by Reality, Says Praveen Kandregula

Paradha , scheduled to be released in theatres on August 22nd , is a fictional story, but it has real-life inspirations, says director Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi and Subham fame. In his latest interview, he adds that a hidden element in the film will surprise the audience. Even though we created a fictional village, you will see real-life echoes. This film explores the idea that there is a veil not just among women but also among men. This movie will spark a discussion and become a film that people talk about, he adds. Starring Anupama Parameswaran in the lead, Paradha co-stars Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha. The film is produced by Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu P and Sridhar Makkuva. We have done a lot of work for this film. It took almost three years, and we shot it with a crew of a hundred people in many amazing locations like Manali and Dharamshala. We have a huge cast with Gautham Menon, Rajendra Prasad, Rag Mayur , and many others. You will find a new surprise element every time you watch this film, says Praveen. This movie was shot in real locations without using a green screen. It was made with the passion to give the audience a great theater experience. I would be very happy if the audience, after watching this film, feels confident that I can handle big-budget films visually, he adds.
