The Paradise has a new casting surprise. After Mohan Babu and Bollywood actor Raghav Juyal, the makers have officially welcomed the Burning Star, Sampoornesh Babu, to the team.

In a refreshing departure from his usual roles, the makers unveiled a character poster showcasing a "never-seen-before" avatar of the actor. Sampoornesh will portray Biryani, the loyal best friend to Nani’s protagonist. The announcement featured the witty caption, “A story cannot be set in Hyderabad without Biryani,” highlighting the deep cultural roots of the film’s setting.

This ambitious project is gearing up for a massive global footprint. The Paradise is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 26, 2026, and will be available in an impressive array of languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, English, and Spanish.

Sampoornesh Babu became an overnight sensation with his 2014 debut, Hridaya Kaleyam, which earned him a cult following for his unique "spoof" comedy style. He solidified his "Burning Star" persona with the success of Kobbari Matta, where he performed a record-breaking non-stop monologue. His filmography, including titles like Singam 123 and Cauliflower, is defined by a satirical take on traditional heroism. He was also seen in Martin Luther King and Sodhara in the last two years.
