The much-awaited Aadarsha Kutumbam: House No. 47, popularly referred to as AK47, will not arrive in theatres on October 9. Producer S Naga Vamsi confirmed the decision during a press meet, stating that the team wants additional time to ensure the film meets its technical expectations. A new release date will be announced later.
The Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas combination was initially scheduled for October 2 before being moved to October 9. Naga Vamsi explained that while the film has completed most of its work, the makers do not want to rush the final output simply to meet a date. The team wants to take more time and deliver the quality they have envisioned for the theatrical experience.
Naga Vamsi also revealed that Venkatesh and Suresh Babu are currently abroad. The team will discuss the next release date after their return and make an official announcement. He acknowledged that October 9 had been confirmed only a few days earlier, but said circumstances surrounding the overseas release copy made it difficult to proceed with the planned schedule.
The producer further addressed the discussion around the promotional material released so far, particularly comments about its clarity and technical quality. He said the team is taking such reactions into consideration and does not want to compromise on the final product. Naga Vamsi also clarified that there is no issue with the film’s OTT deal and that discussions with the digital partners are continuing.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, Aadarsha Kutumbam stars Venkatesh in the lead role, with Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. The film has already generated interest through its teaser and songs, with Trivikram’s trademark humour evident in the promotional material.
With the next theatrical date yet to be decided, the focus now remains on completing the final process and presenting AK47 in the best possible form. The makers are expected to announce the new release date once the discussions are finalised.
