My character in Akhanda 2 is stylish and prominent: Actress Samyuktha

When Akhanda 2 came her way, Samyuktha Menon was thrilled but her schedule was packed. Since she was intent on doing the movie somehow, she asked her team to get her dates adjusted. Ahead of the movie's release on December 5th, the Virupaksha and Bimbisara actress says that her character in the Boyapati Sreenu directorial holds significance. While her character has a role in the story, the one mass number in the film featuring her alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna has caught everyone's attention. "Mine is a stylish character. I did Jajikaya knowing well that it's a mass song. Initially, I was nervous. I was determined to perform the song to the best of my abilities. After two days of practice, my knee didn't cooperate. I had to undergo physiotherapy. My only aim is to entertain my audience," she says. Asked how it was working with Balakrishna, she describes the Nata Simha as a "friendly person". She adds, "I met him for the first time during an ad shoot. Even then, he spoke as if I was a person he had known for a long time. He is a director's actor. He does whatever the director tells him. I really like that quality in him. It is very comfortable working with him." She praises producers Raam and Gopi Achanta of 14 Reels Plus, describing them as highly supportive. "Making such a huge film wouldn't have been possible without the support of the producers. They are carrying out nationwide promotions so well," Samyuktha says.
