Meenakshi Chaudhary talks about playing a cop in Sankranthiki Vasthunam

Meenakshi Chaudhary feels lucky to have got to play a cop so early in her career. Sankranthiki Vasthunam, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has the gorgeous actress in the role of a police officer who shares screen space with Victory Venkatesh and Aishwarya Rajesh. In her latest interview, Meenakshi talks about her journey a bit. Last Sankranthi, I had a theatrical release in the form of Guntur Kaaram. This time, it is Sankranthiki Vasthunam. I am happy about my journey. My dad was a Colonel in the Army. I have a fair degree of knowledge about the body language required to play a police officer, a dream role for me. I didn't have any reference point as such while doing Sankranthiki Vasthunam , Meenakshi ponders. The Lucky Baskhar actress is also elated that all three songs from the film have been successful. This is the first time that such a thing has happened in my career. Godari Gattu, Meenu and the Blockbuster Pongal song are chartbuster hits, Meenakshi says. She says that director Anil Ravipudi is someone with a strong sense of spontaneity. A comedy entertainer benefits from a director with such a sense. A lot has to be improved on set, the actress adds.
