The pre-release event for the upcoming Telugu village drama Maremma is set to take place on September 5th. Mass Maharaja Raviteja will grace the occasion as the chief guest to support the team ahead of its theatrical debut.
The recently launched trailer gives a compelling glimpse into an intense, rural drama set against a backdrop of deep-seated village beliefs. The plot centers around a mysterious curse that grips a peaceful village, triggering a series of unsettling events as livestock and local buffaloes begin dying unexpectedly. At the heart of this turmoil is the young male protagonist, who shares a deep bond with his male buffalo named Maari. As panic spreads among the villagers and someone actively seeks to kill the animal, the lead hero goes to great lengths to protect it. Intertwined with this high-stakes struggle is an endearing local love story that adds warmth and emotional depth to the overarching mystery.
Marking the debut of Raviteja's nephew, Maadhav Bhupathiraju, the film stars Deepa Balu as the female lead. The supporting cast features notable actors including Vinod Kumar, Vikas Vasishta, V.S. Rupa Lakshmi, and Dayanand Reddy. Directed by debutant Manchala Nagaraj, the movie features a gripping background score composed by Prashanth R Vihari and cinematography by Prasanth Ankireddy.
