Mandaadi is an upcoming sea-based sports action drama centered around coastal rivalries and high-stakes sailboat racing. Set against the backdrop of coastal Tamil Nadu, the core narrative revolves around an intense, long-standing rivalry between two opposing local groups.
The main conflict peaks during a traditional, high-stakes sea sailing competition, where Muthukaali (played by Soori) and Sattapuli (played by Suhas) must join forces to protect their community's business, honor, and maritime legacy from rival factions.
Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and creatively produced by Vetrimaaran under Elred Kumar's RS Infotainment banner, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, and Ravindra Vijay.
