In a heartfelt video, actor Manchu Vishnu described his father, Dr. Mohan Babu , as his Kannappa. Bhakta Kannappa , who lived many centuries ago, is considered one of the greatest devotees of Lord Shiva. At one point, he was ready to gouge his own eyes out in a state of devotional trance. It is because he was capable of this level of ultimate sacrifice for his object of love that he is considered a great devotee. In the video, Vishnu drew a parallel between Kannappa's unconditional love and the immense sacrifices his dad endured for his children. He did a lot to bring us up. He is my Kannappa.
