MAD Square's success undeniable, declares producer S Naga Vamsi

S Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments today interacted with the Tollywood media to talk about the success of MAD Square. He stated that the magnitude of the success of the movie is beyond doubt. Excerpts: From today, ticket rates are going to be normal everywhere. Class 10 exams have come to an end today. Critics have opined that the second half is somewhat lukewarm. I have watched MAD Square in theatres. The audience think otherwise. They are enjoying the comedy, including scenes involving Sunil , like anything. I don't want to comment adversely on the negative reviews. But don't cast doubts on the movie's collections just to justify your reviews. I don't care even if the media blacks out my movies. The media is dependent on producers for Ads. Yet, the same media wants to attack our movies. There is no reason to doubt the authenticity of the stated collections. If anyone has any doubts, they are free to prove us wrong. But they have no evidence before them. I had stated that MAD Square is an entertainer sans logic. I am not saying mixed reviews have had any impact on collections. Had the reviews mattered, our movie wouldn't have grossed one million dollars in the US so fast. Reviews are just a person's opinion. If a reviewer is in a bad mood because of a fight with his spouse, he might give a negative review. It is no joke to make, market, promote, distribute a movie. It's no mean feat to close OTT deals. If an entertainer is hilarious, nobody can stop it. MAD had an element of relatability because it was a college campus story. MAD Square is set in Goa. Comparisons can't be made.
