Siva Shakthi Datta , born Koduri Subbarao in 1932, is no more. He was a highly respected lyricist, screenwriter, painter, director, and producer. Age-related ailments are reported to be the reason for his demise. Family background: He was the father of MM Keeravani , and the elder brother of renowned screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad, making him the uncle of acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli. His accomplishments: Siva Shakthi Datta was known for his refined command over classical Telugu and Sanskrit, which was evident in his poetic and culturally rich lyrics. His contributions to Telugu cinema spanned several decades. He wrote songs for movies like Baahubali . He was also a passionate artist and painter, with a deep interest in traditional arts and philosophy.
